Yorkshire Bank
| Organiser: Allan Savage, Business Associate | Date: 22 September 2010 |
| Purpose: Networking | Venue: EIS Sheffield |
| Delegates: 100 |
Why EIS Sheffield:
''We have held events before but on a much smaller size and usually within our own Business Centre, so when the opportunity to host an event with an athletic legend like Steve Cram, who acts as a ambassador for the bank, came up we looked for a suitable venue. As the English Institute of Sport is known to me and has good access and fits into Steve's profile there was only one choice."
Challenges:
"After the initial meeting with the Hospitality staff any concerns on our part were dismissed as it was quite clear that they understood our requirements and had the experience from hosting a variety of other events to ensure the event would go smoothly."
The Verdict:
"As the event hosted over 100 top Business people and staff from the region it was paramount that the event was a success and indeed it was, with good feedback from the business community
regarding the event and venue and the tour of the facilities which was included went down well.
We would have no hesitation in staging another event at the venue given all the above and also the Institute having a very competitive pricing structure''
